associate broker - A real estate license classification used to describe a person who has qualified as a real estate broker but still works for and is supervised by another broker.
ABR - An Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) is an agent that has completed Buyer Representation Training, passed the ABR examination, and has demonstrated ability and experience in representing buyers in several transactions.
CRS - A Certified Residential Specialist is a REALTOR® who has earned certification from the Council of Residential Specialists by completing a rigorous course of advanced training, and by meeting significant experience requirements. Only 5% of all REALTORS® in the U.S. have the extensive experience, the unique commitment and the hours of training necessary to have earned the CRS designation.
CRB - The Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) Designation is recognized industry-wide as the symbol of excellence in brokerage management. The CRB Designation signifies a leader in the industry and the highest level of professional achievement and recognition in the specialized field of brokerage management.
e-PRO - An e-PRO is a REALTOR® who has successfully completed the e-PRO training program for real estate professionals. Endorsed by the National Association of REALTORS®, the e-PRO course teaches professionals the nuts and bolts of working with real estate on-line: Web sites, e-mail, on-line tools, and most of all, what today's consumer really wants.
FHS - A Prudential Fine Homes Specialist is considered a specialist in residential property in the top 10 percent of their respective marketplace. In order to qualify, the associate must have a minimum of one year's experience as a real estate professional, have listed at least two Fine Homes in the past year, have closed one Fine Home transaction and meet or exceed certain company sales standards.
GREEN - NAR’s Green Designation is the only environmental real estate designation addressing multiple specialties. It is also the only green designation for agents AND property managers recognized by the National Association of REALTORS®.
GRI - Graduate, Realtors® Institute is a professional designation which may be earned by a REALTOR® successfully completing prescribed courses covering law, finance, investment, appraisal, office management and salesmanship.
sales associate - A licensed salesperson working for a licensed broker who can negotiate and transact the sale of real estate on behalf of property owners and buyers.
SRES - The Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation is earned by approximately 1100 real estate agents across the country to assist mature clients with their real estate needs.
